Shattering the Mold: Multipotentiality Unveiled in 2024
Say goodbye to the ordinary 'good life' checklist and embrace a revolution where your Comfort Zone is your greatest ally
Given we’re less than 5 days into 2024, you’d have expected a post about topics like:
- setting SMART goals
- choosing your word of the year
- creating an endless list of things to do before Valentine’s Day
- setting your intentions
- or, any other odd techniques so high end masterminds seem legit while you’re left with maxed out credit cards and panic attack to pay the next grocery bill.
Well, let me burst your bubble.
It won’t be your typical « start the year strong with 24 goals in 2024 » 💥
If you’ve been around Comfort Zone Rocks for more than 1,9 nanoseconds, you can scream loud and clear I give no F*** to goals, resolutions, intentions, and word of the year.
On the flip side of the pancake, I’m a huge advocate for analog planning. And, I know too well the headache it can be to choose between undated vs dated, the kind of layout that would fit my Swedish lessons AND my sushi teachings, or how the resistance to use (and maybe mess up) with brand new, shiny, pristine pricey planner.
Breathe out… 😤 Finding your perfect planner is doable, easier than it looks, and it’s not a cookie cutter process. Learn more about the ABC method
Up until 2010, I’ve been carefully organizing every second of my time to:
- be more productive (known as wake up at 3 am to write morning pages)
- hustle more (known as juggling 4 part-time jobs to pay for bills and invest in more advanced courses)
- invest more ( known as « If you don’t pay more, it means you don’t want it bad enough... You’re a loser and a failure. »)
- reduce fun and pleasure to bare minimum (known as giving away my most cherish memories to « declutter my lack mentality mindset »)
- be socially acceptable (known as « You must lose weight unless you’ll be seen as a lazy person unable to have discipline »)
Want to know what happened?
By a cold night of January 2010, I crumbled down. And, Comfort Zone Rocks emerged from the ashes of what I thought was a healthy lifestyle (a lifestyle every grown up adults was supposed to enjoy). A rite of passage.
The same kind of things you face when you get your driving license or get a skull tattooed on your arm to see the horrified face of your mom spitting her coffee the next morning during breakfast.
A decade later, Comfort Zone Rocks went through a lot
A rebrand (remember when it was The Hygge Planner?) and its fair share of twists and turns. Maybe, it’s a by-product of the recent launch of Poisonous Pen, or maybe it’s the urgent need to add more anti-aging cream to my bedtime routine.... Who knows...
Well, I’m supposed to know ... 🤦🏻♀️ I’m the one behind the keyboard (If only, it has the charming sound of those old vintage typewriters. 📠 Anybody else feels that nostalgic? Just wondering)
Whatever the case may be, I take a chance 🍀 by crafting a new introductory post for one of the near and dear project I’m sharing with you. (Kind of a take 2 after two people meet in an awkward situation and they want to start fresh)
What’s in Comfort Zone Rocks for you?
Comfort Zone Rocks is an alien 👽 in the lifestyle galaxy of green juice, meditation, and yoga. And that’s exactly what it’s supposed to be: a platform for Multitalented, Renaissance Souls, Multi Creatives to rest and gain self-agency.
Be embracing Comfort Zone, I want to give a voice to those who rarely feel safe & secured to rely on their multipotentiality to navigate through life’s hurdles smoothly.
What if your Comfort Zone was a reminder of your skills, talents, abilities, interests AND the safe container for future adventures? And NOT a stereotypical idea to make you feel guilty?
I want you to be calm, cool, & confident without second guessing your decisions, your path, or your deep love for pearl necklaces.
It’s about time to ditch never ending “normal good life” ToDos
It’s about time to hold your ground with grace when someone suggests your multitalented personality needs to be fixed.
It’s about time to peacefully say NO without the urge to explain yourself.
What if you could FOLLOW YOUR INNER COMPASS knowing:
-you have a back-up plan to rest & recharge when you want?
-AND the excitement to embark on new adventures (be it running a 10K, reading 120 books, or making your white orchid blooming again)?
The Comfort Zone Rocks Lifestyle is the antidote to one-way of living. It’s your golden ticket to navigate your multi talented life using cozy living as a VIP Ticket Lounge for self-confidence. And, you’re welcome to join.
Sounds like a plan for you?
Then, here’s what you can do next.
After a short hiatus, I’m relaunching an updated (the paint is still wet and the succulents are not all set) version of my podcast. Previously called The Hygge Planner Show, it’s now Cozy, Dots, & Time.
Available on 11 platforms like Spotify, you’re already in good company with more than 123 400 Humans who have listened it.
Considering you can listen one episode with your morning cup of Earl Grey, you’re good for the next four months or so (enough to reach Spring without noticing the snow, the cold temperatures, the pajamas you love to wear on Sundays, and how your cat gets a little fluffier than it should)
Need some inspiration?
On the menu, the Chef would like to recommend you:
- start with episode 2 as it’s a sweet appetizer
- followed by episode 4 which is full of flavours
- for the dessert, episode 136 would add a nice fresh touch
Cozily yours.
Purdey.
